And as the sun sets,
Tucking itself comfortably beneath
The endless sea,
Spreading it’s crimson hue
Across land like a thick blanket,
Warming cold hearts
And rekindling broken ones,
The moon stood on its toes,
Eager to shed it’s silver light
On a dark sea of people
Clamouring and chattering.
Ah! What a delightful sight.
The transition from
crimson to silver,
Day to night,
Consciousness to lucid dreams.
And as the sun sets,
I stood on the brink of the sea,
Awaiting the rise of the moon-
My companion and my muse.
